These used to be all over tiger direct. being that ddr2 was the thing. what happenened? newegg has 1 brand that sells 2 mobos with 6 ram bus's. Tiger sells msot of its tri-channel ram in quantities or 3. and all of tiger directs motherboards that support trichannel have only 4 ram slots. Mainboard mit 8 RAM Slots? In general, two slots of the same colour are on different channels, and the way you've put it seems to be logical. Assuming the system supports a mix of dual channel and non dual channel ram, the two blue sticks are working in dual channel mode, and the stick in the black slot isn't.
